Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. The work is executed on canvas and is not relined. A few marks of careful retouching are visible under UV light : one approx. 1 cm, located 13 cm from the right edge and 50 cm from the upper edge, one located 2 cm from the right edge and 87 cm from the upper edge, one approx. 2 cm, located 38 cm from the right edge and 87 cm from the upper edge, one approx. 3 cm, located 23 cm from the right edge and 61 cm from the lower edge, another approx. 3 cm, located 49 cm from the left edge and 6 cm from the lower edge. This work is in very good condition.
