The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer and richer in the original, with more prominent peach tones in the sky.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear to all four corner tips. There is a canvas indentation to the right of the central figure's jacket. There is a small media accretion to the right of the central figure's left hand. There are two faint rub marks to the left of the central figure's head. There is a short vertical rub mark in the lower left hand corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
