Condition

STRUCTURE The canvas has been relined. There are scattered traces of craquelure, only visible on close inspection. Otherwise the paint surface is sound. ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT UV light reveals infilling to craquelure to the woman's face, the horse, to the foreground, lower left and the trees, upper left; there are a couple of further patches of retouching to the building, upper right.
