Condition
The support consists of three panels which have been cradled to the reverse and are secure. The paint surface is clean and secure. Some impasto remains well preserved, for example in the trees. Some thinness of paint and repaint is apparent in the sky. Overall to naked eye the condition appears fair. A restored scratch of 8 cm in the centre of the painting is visible. Under UV light some retouchings flouresce under the panel joins. There are three patches of retouching in the sky as well as other localised retouchings. In large parts the paint surface appears untouched. Offered in a carved wood and painted frame in fair condition and structurally sound.
