Condition

Overall in excellent condition. The oak surfaces throughout appear to retain their original finish, with some occasional very light surface scratches and abrasions, some gentle rubbing to the high points of the top central carved poppy flower, and some minor edge wear consistent with age and very gentle use. A few of the legs with some tight stress fractures (all of which appear stable and are inherent in the natural expansion and contraction of wood over time). A superb example of this rare model displaying exceptional proportions, crisp carving and edges, and a particularly deep rich finish.
