Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original, with the paper tone tending more towards cream. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged to the backing mount around all four edges on the reverse and there are artist's pinholes in all four corners. The top, left and right extreme edges are deckled and there is some very slight undulation around the extreme edges. There is a short vertical tear (4.5 cm. approximately) at the centre of the lower extreme edge, and a further short vertical tear (2 cm. approximately) on the left side of the upper extreme edge. On close examination a few fine light flattened creases are visible.
