Condition

The canvas has been relined. The picture is dirty and the varnish layer discoloured. Overall the painting is in reasonable condition.The paint surface is somewhat abraded in areas and the sky has been retouched to disguise this. There is an old repaired 4 cm damage in the sky centre left. Offered in a later gilt plaster frame in fair condition.
