Designed as a pair of wings, set with circular- and rose-cut diamonds, suspending at the front a later baroque cultured pearl drop,

Provenance: Countess Orloff Davidoff and thence by family descent.

Condition

Metal tested as silver and gold. By family tradition this necklace was previously part of a tiara made by Fabergé in the 1860s and later redesigned as a necklace by Buccellati in the early 1990s. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 25.00 carats, mixed colours and clarities. Later baroque cultured pearl, measuring approximately 17.5mm x 12.7mm (at narrowest point), medium lustre, creamy body colour, some natural growth marks. Minor scratches and discolouration to metal consistent with age and wear. Buccellati case. In good condition.
