Condition

This work appears in very good condition overall. The edges have yellowed slightly with age and show some evidence of light wear and handling. The uneveness observable in the lower-left edge of the sheet is inherent to the paper. This sheet is secured at the top verso to an acid-free mat with rice paper hinges and framed under Plexiglas.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. NOTWITHSTANDING THIS REPORT OR ANY DISCUSSIONS CONCERNING CONDITION OF A LOT, ALL LOTS ARE OFFERED AND SOLD "AS IS" IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONDITIONS OF SALE PRINTED IN THE CATALOGUE.

Catalogue Note

"It is the bareness of drawing that I like. The act of drawing is what locates, suggests, discovers. At times it seems enough to draw, without the distraction of color and mass. Yet it is an old ambition to make drawing and painting one."
