Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly softer and lighter in the original, with the pink of the houses' tiles tending more to lilac and the green-beige of the ground tending more to blue-green in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is some light wear to the four extreme corner tips, with some associated small specks of paint loss. There are a number of scattered tension cracks in places along the overturn edges of the canvas. Upon close inspection to the work's surface, a few scattered very fine hairline cracks are noticeable, in particular to the sky. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
