Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer, with stronger oranges hues to the figure in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. The canvas is slightly slack. There is light wear to all four corners and in places along all four extreme edges. There is a small tear to the canvas on the bottom extreme edge towards the right hand corner. There are very faint rub marks throughout the composition only visible in raking light. There is a small horizontal line of paint loss to the centre of the composition (visible in the catalogue illustration) and a spot of media accretion 10 cm bellow left of this.
