Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the green tends more towards a florescent apple and the purple tends more towards a fuchsia pink in the original. The overall tonality is also brighter and more vibrant in the original and the paper is more brilliant white Condition: This work is in very good condition and is securely hinged to the backing board in several places along each edge on the reverse. The lower left corner is lifting slightly and there is a tiny indentation beneath the molecular structure in the lower centre.

Damien Hirst designed sixty different matchbooks in 1997 for use at Pharmacy. The present lot includes an entire set grouped together on a poster he designed in 2004.
