This work is in a good general condition overall. There appears to be areas on the painting where the stretchers below the canvas have left slightly visible marks, in particular in the dark areas of the painting (the camel's clothes) and along the vertical part of the stretcher in the center of the painting. There are also very slight handling marks along the lower edge of the painting and a minor stain towards the lower left corner. The work was not examined under UV light.
