Condition

Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall paper tone tends more towards cream in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. It is hinged to the backing board in places along all four edges. There is slight undulation throughout. There is a light handling crease towards the right centre of the composition and slight handling marks to the white ground of the central section and to the top extreme edge. The lower left extreme corner tip is lifting slightly. There is a tiny tear approximately 15cm from the top left hand corner, and another just below, inherent to the artist's working process.
