Ross Wilson, A.R.U.A. b.1957

Living and working in rural Northern Ireland, Wilson takes his inspiration from the people, animals and landscapes that surround him. He studied at the University of Ulster then Chelsea School of Art and since 1980 has had twenty-six solo exhibitions. As well as major sculpture commissions for the Waterfront Hall, Belfast and the C.S. Lewis Centenary Sculpture at the Hollywood Arches, Belfast, his work is held in numerous public collections including those of the Tate Gallery, London; The British Museum, London; The Fogg Museum, Cambridge, MA; The Ulster Museum, Belfast; The National Portrait Gallery, London and The Grollier Collection, New York.
