Engravings of the original models are illustrated by T.H.Clarke, Marcolini Meissen Figures, Engraved by Friedrich Elsasser 1785-1792, p.75, figs.60 and 61. The author notes (p.29) that the figures were originally modelled by Acier in December 1776 and January 1777.
