the first with two brightly feathered birds turning their heads, opening their beaks and wagging their tail feathers whilst singing a cheerful song, the crank-wound mechanism concealed in the base with random delay, the square gilt cage with ring handle, gilt-wood and gesso plinth with stop/start lever on the underside; the second with two birds turning their heads and opening their beaks whilst singing their song, the coin-operated mechanism concealed in the base, square gilt cage with ring handle, gilt-wood and gesso base.
