T his July, the second edition of Contemporary Curated in Milan is guest-curated by style icon Anna dello Russo, editor-at-large for Vogue Nippon and one of the most recognisable fashion personalities within the industry.
From 20th Century Italian and international pioneers to contemporary rising stars, the sale brings together works by Georges Mathieu, Asger Jorn, Antonio Calderara and Mario Schifano, alongside Invader, Aboudia, KAWS and Damien Hirst to name a few.
The sale is also underscored by three uniquely created blankets from the Colville “Calling All Knitters!”
project, which will be sold to benefit CADMI - a refuge for vulnerable women and victims of domestic violence in Milan.
Furthermore, a dreamlike fresco by Francesco Clemente from Arata Isozaki’s renowned Palladium nightclub will be sold to benefit the Covid emergency activity, intervention project and related volunteers training of the Croce Rosa e Celeste in Milan.
An accompanying exhibition of the highlights will be on view at Sotheby’s in Milan from 6-8 July.
